Seeking a closer relationship with God?
So are we.
Faith is a choice we make, consciously or subconsciously, and at Bigelow Arbors Chapel we're here to help each other understand what beliefs we consider true or sacred and why they are important to us. Most of our congregation hasn't found the 'perfect' religion or faith that fits them but that's ok. We're here for each other.
We talk. We listen. We don't preach.
At our gatherings we don't sit and listen to a pastor preach. It might be tradition but we believe everyone can contribute to our collective search for universal truths. We are open minded about different possibilities and not afraid to ask questions. We are soul searching. Wisdom and fulfillment can be achieved when we explore ideas, philosophies, and concepts together. Paul says in I Corinthians 14, 'When we come together everyone has a hymn or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation.' This is how the church began and we believe it is still the way to the truth.
One thing close to our hearts is the belief that all humanity is worthy of our respect, love, and help. We look for opportunities to improve our brothers and sisters lives in whatever manner we can.
Bringing forth our natural creative power through the conscious daily use of spiritual laws to heal, inspire, and enrich our lives. Our meditation rose garden is well kept for this practice. A quiet and serene place to listen to nature and to your heart.
